When the weather is nicer, Graham Ave is often full of neighborhood guys hanging out on the street, chatting with passers-by, and trying to stay cool. Like the venerable Pennsylvania groundhog, I’m hoping to see these fellas popping their heads out of their burrows some time very, very soon.

I was searching for a photo from this past summer to remind me that NYC can, in fact, be a sweltering hell-hole. I came across a set from a visit we were paid by our friends Heather and Derek in which we took them to Coney Island.

Ah, how I long to be complaining about the heat instead of the cold…
